I am a huge fan of to-do lists. They keep me on task, give me direction and I do love to see a page full of ticks at the end of the day.

I believe we all want to live our lives as brightly as possible yeah?

Here are 5 sure fire ways that you can do TODAY to get you sparkling and on your way to living your most fabulous life!

1. Make H2O your wingman 

Every time you decide to take that crystal clear liquid gold out for a spin in favour of something else, you are saying YES to clearer skin, better circulation, a clear thinking noggin and an all round better mood. By staying hydrated, you are also saying you don’t fancy a run in with toxins, headaches, bad moods and unnecessary calories. Did you know we often mistake thirst for hunger?

Our bodies are made up of around 60% water and this water keeps your organs hydrated and helps ferry all those nasty ass toxins and waste from your bod. If you are anything like me, you don’t want all those freeloading toxins just sitting around in your system just clogging up your fabulousness. Get those bad boys out of there. Think of your body like a dishwasher, how can you wash the dishes without water? Insight 🙂

2. Move your caboose – right now. GET UP…fist pump the air, and get that epic rig of yours moving!

Not only will this torch some energy which might help you sleep better, it will increase circulation which is FABO for your organs and sunny disposition, it will also give you a sense of mystery. People around you will begin to wonder just WHAT is that fabulous human so excited about. She must have her sh*t together. She looks totally jazzed. We should be friends! (This applies only to those who do said fist pumps in a public place)

3. Make friends with salad – Add some greens to your meals. That’s right. GREEN IT UP!

Try and include something green, that was once alive in EVERY meal. In fact, why don’t you try and see how many serves of green goodness you can fit in a day. Then beat it the next day? Green leafy vegetables do wonders for the system. Not only are they alkalizing they are down right delicious, packed with nutrients, high water contents and fiber they can go a long way to helping you rock those yoga pants. When it comes to dressing’s though, think Beyoncé..to the left, to the left…(order sauces or dressings on the side)

4. Phone a friend – Call that badass soul sister and give her a WASSSS-UUUUUP!

Laughter is like a hug for the soul. You might be surprised to learn that the simple act of laughing every now and then can do wonders for your health, both emotionally and physically. It’s winter and people around us are dropping like flies, succumbing to the dreaded flu.  You’ll be pleased to know that a good old belly chuckle can boost your immune system, increase the number of virus-killing cells in your bloodstream, reduce stress related hormones, and enhance your mental functioning. SIGN ME UP FOR SOME OF THAT! Quick…say something funny 🙂

5. Get to bed EARLIER – They don’t call it beauty sleep for no reason.

Snow white slept for like…AGES. I don’t remember how long for exactly, but the woman was OUT. So many awesome things happen when we allow ourselves to get some much-needed rest. You can decrease inflammation and increase memory function. Cells regenerate when we sleep. Your body heals itself. When we get those much-needed ZZZ’s it is like shutting up shop so the cleaners can come in and make everything SPARKLE again. Skimp on the shut eye, prepare for the wheels to soon fall off your wagon.
